Sewer Network Inspection Robot

The latest model of Kavosh’s sewage network videometric robots, called SEWBOT VIII, was designed and manufactured in 1402. This robot is a comprehensive example of the capabilities of Kavosh Mechanized Exploration Company’s robots in the field of designing and manufacturing pipeline inspection robots based on CCTV technology, which has been able to compete seriously with similar European models in terms of efficiency and features.
The important point in the design of SEWBOT VIII is that this model was made based on the experiences gained from thousands of kilometers of videometric work in the country’s sewage network, and by diagnosing the performance of previous models of the SEWBOT family, and all design requirements and requests required by experts in the country’s sewage industry have been implemented in accordance with the most up-to-date regulations and standards.

The capabilities of the SEWBOT VI videometric robot include:

Robot Controller Command

The robot controller is an electronic and computer system that converts the robot operator’s commands into the robot’s electronic language and controls and directs the robot. The robot controller is designed and manufactured in two types: cabin and portable. In the cabin type, a computer with peripheral equipment and a controller electrical panel are designed to be mounted on a van, and in the portable type, all these parts are designed and manufactured in a portable Samsung console, which has the following features:

Robot Software

Guidance of the robot and collection of data from inspection operations require sending and receiving as well as interpreting data, this is managed by an interface software. The new version of the videometric robot software for mechanized exploration, as an operator assistant, has tried to help the operator during the execution of videometric operations, produce and prepare all the required information at the same time, and after the completion of other reports required for submission to the monitoring device, the software will prepare and present them in PDF file format. Also, all information on the videometric operations of the sewage network is presented in a packaged file format for uploading to the Dideban system (the nationwide sewage network information archive system) and is ready to be uploaded to the said system.

Installation, equipment and customization of the inspection vehicle

Due to the large number of robot operating equipment, the implementation of videometry operations requires permanent installation on a vehicle. On the other hand, to facilitate the operator’s activities, the cabin space is customized and separated, and other equipment required for this operation is placed in dedicated spaces. Therefore, the installation, equipment and customization of the robot device and related equipment can be done in two ways, depending on the customer’s demand: cabin equipment on a van or truck, and portable equipment on a pickup truck.
