Automatic self-priming sludge pump
Self-Priem Slug Pump (SP)
Self-Priem Slug Pump (SP)
In times of relief and crisis, self-priming sludge pumps or SP (Self-Prime Sludge Pump) are used to drain and transfer fluid, water or wastewater from one point to another. An important feature of this type of pump is the ability to transfer water along with other objects, debris and high-viscosity sludge. This type of pump is designed and manufactured in fully automatic and semi-automatic versions. Fully automatic pumps use a diaphragm vacuum pump to quickly drain and suck air and bring the liquid level to the pump, and heavy sludge materials are easily moved, but in semi-automatic pumps, due to the air extraction operation, it is done manually by the user. The types of fully automatic self-priming sludge pumps in the KSP4, KSP6, KSP8 (6 to 8 inches) models have been manufactured and reverse engineered by this company.
As mentioned, the company’s fully automatic self-priming sludge pump is reverse engineered from the English Selwood brand and is assembled as a direct coupling on the chassis and supplied with Perkins diesel engines, made in Iran (Azar Motor).
Kavash Mechanized Company is proud to sell a large number of fully automatic self-priming sludge pumps to government employers and has especially won their satisfaction, and the result has been the technical and qualitative improvement of the pumps, such as strengthening the chassis, minimizing vibrations during operations, and also the use of smart electrical panels if needed and appropriate to control diesel and pumps.

Smart electrical panels have the ability to program and give various commands, such as specifying the number of times the engine starts when starting the diesel, the start duration, as well as intelligent control of the temperature of water and diesel oil, and by automatically shutting down the engine in case of excessive temperature increase, it prevents serious damage to the diesel engine and financial losses.
This panel also has a dedicated charger to keep the diesel battery charged.
When the pump is not used for a long time and is turned off, the panel charger can be used using city electricity to prevent the battery from emptying and keep the battery charged.
The panel has an insulated enclosure and IP54 standard to prevent water from penetrating during rainfall.
This panel also has an indicator to display the input voltage to the battery for charging the battery.
Fully automatic slurry pump chassis are single-axle and double-axle depending on the customer’s taste.
The chassis brake system can use a hand brake or just the chassis brake or both.
Also, a metal wheel is used at the front of the chassis to make the chassis easier to steer.
The chassis suspension system is a flat spring.
The chassis tank volume is usually 70 to 80 liters and can be upgraded to 200 liters.
A height adjustment bar can be installed at the front of the chassis to adjust the chassis height on uneven and sloping surfaces.
It has a rotating strap for towing the chassis by a vehicle.
